What we collect

SkeinScout doesn't have user accounts, and we don't collect or store any payment information. Searches you run are sent to Shopify's Catalog API to fetch results but aren't tied to a personal profile on our end.

Email newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide so we can send you occasional emails about new indie yarn finds. Subscriber emails are stored with our email delivery provider, Resend, and aren't shared with anyone else. To stop receiving these emails, reach out through our feedback form and we'll remove you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage, such as which pages are visited and roughly how many people use SkeinScout. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technology to do this.

Third-party merchants

When you click "Buy," you leave SkeinScout and go to the listing merchant's own store. Any information you provide there — including payment and shipping details — is handled under that merchant's own privacy policy, not this one.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of SkeinScout after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
